Too many personal trainer courses in Edinburgh are designed to get students through a checklist. Edinburgh Personal Training Academy is an in-person course built to prepare you for the gym floor: real conversations, sound planning, clear demonstration and confident adaptation — see full cost, dates & entry requirements.
Our practical sessions run from a permanent gym floor at 545–551 Gorgie Rd, Edinburgh EH11 3AR, easily reached from West Edinburgh, Gorgie, Fountainbridge, Slateford and across the city. As a personal training course delivered entirely in person, it's a genuine alternative to an online-only PT course.

Course selectivity
Every intake is capped at 8–12 students. That protects the quality of the coaching, gives every student meaningful floor time and lets James and Ewa know how you are progressing.
We look for students who are ready to learn, practise, accept feedback and raise the standard for their future clients.
